Day 25 - Prague or Praha still

Slept in until 7:30 a.m.  Wonderful!  Did not leave hotel until almost 11 a.m. And then walked a leisurely pace for few hours.  Saw our first United  Methodist church in Europe.  Walked past the Fre and Ginger building aka the dancing building.  The glass part is Ginger , the balcony is Fred's  arm around her waist and the stucco portion is Fred.  The Prague citizens feel the building does not fit in the neighborhood which is true.  However, it is really unique!  We saw a kitchen store with better looking small appliances than what we see in the States, lighting stores with great contemporary fixtures, clothing stores (one had silk flower arrangements on the female mannequin heads -- hilarious), contemporary home accessories, etc.

We walked across the Charles (King Charles was their favorite king). It was a mini street fair with street musicians, artist, jewelry, etc.  Quite  entertaining but very crowded.  We found a contemporary art gallery by chance and ended up buying a small acrylic to bring home.  The art, small sculptures reminded us so much of Brazil.  Fun!  Across the street was the first working church we found -- most do not have services. It had a list of Catholic churches, language spoken and time of service.

I can't explain Prague adequately.  Every time I look up I see another incredibly beautiful building.  It is rather unbelievable and, of course, we have no idea what it is!

We are back at the Marriott exec apartments using their lobby and wifi until its time to go to the train station again!  Say a prayer everything goes well tonight!
